Sanwo-Olu inaugurates logistics park

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated a 29,000-square-metre TY Logistics Park FZE, a Grade-A contract logistics facility described as the first of its kind in West Africa.

The launch, held inside the Alaro Free Zone within the Lekki corridor on Monday, marks another major step in Lagos’ ambition to build Africa’s most advanced industrial and logistics ecosystem.

The facility, located a short distance from the Lekki Deep Sea Port and minutes away from the planned international airport, is designed to international specifications and offers more than 45,000 pallet positions.

Sanwo-Olu said, “We are officially launching the TY Logistics Park FZE in Alaro City, a project that will shape the future of logistics in Lagos and strengthen our position as Nigeria’s leading industrial hub.

I commend General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd.) and Senator Daisy Danjuma for their vision. Through TY Holdings, they continue to show what responsible investment and confidence in Lagos truly look like.
