Filmmakers Called To Submit Entries For 9th Edition Of KADIFF
Filmmakers across Nigeria and Africa have been called submit their works for the 9th edition of the Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF).
The festival is scheduled for August 25 to 29, 2026.
The call for submission of film entries opened simultaneously with the festival’s release of a list of its 2026 zonal and international coordinators.
Coordinating the North Central submissions for the festival are: Hoomsuk Jibrin, Cartoon Films TV, Louis Wise, and Umar Ali Yakubu; Mansoor Sadiq, Oladimeji Oluwasegun, Abdallah Amdaz, and MC Kayode are coordinating entries from North West; Abubakar Dan Baiwa and Gambo Usman Kona will organize entries from North East, while Zack Francis Ineydo, JP Nwanganga, and His Royal Highness Snazzy will oversee entries from South West, South East, and South South, respectively.
Managing foreign film entries in the festival are South African, Nomi Mzamane, Ugandans – Kwezi Patrick, Ashiraf Mulima, and Nakafeero Shamirah Suzan.
KADIFF founder and executive director, Audu Kashim Israel, commended the coordinators for their invaluable contributions to the Nigerian film and creative industry, in particular the festival, stating, “We look forward to a fruitful and successful 9th edition”.
Themed ‘Cultural Renaissance’, the ninth edition of KADIFF welcomes film entries in the following categories: features, shorts, animation, documentaries, experimental, indigenous, student films, and television or streaming platform series.
Submission timeline runs from February 21 to April 24, 2026.
