Funke Akindele empowers 175 crew members in upcoming film project

Actress and box office queen, Funke Akindele, has expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to empower 175 crew members who contributed to her upcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”

In an Instagram post, she shared a photo of the team, praising their dedication and hard work in bringing the movie to life.

Akindele revealed that the movie was self-funded and highlighted her pride in providing opportunities for a talented crew, 95% of whom are young individuals showcasing their skills.She also acknowledged the seamless collaboration between Nigerian and Ghanaian team members, reiterating her commitment to empowering the next generation and offering them platforms to excel.“Proud moment! I want to celebrate the incredible 175 crew members who worked tirelessly for nine weeks to bring ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ to life! As a self-funded project, I’m honoured to have empowered a team of talented individuals, with 95% of them being young people, to showcase their skills.“Special shout-out to our Nigerian and Ghanaian crew members who collaborated seamlessly to make this happen.
